Quality Payment Program

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) ended the Sustainable Growth Rate formula approach to payment and consolidated components of three existing programs (PQRS, Meaningful Use, Value-Based Modifier) into The Quality Payment Program (QPP). The Quality Payment Program is designed to promote high-quality, patient-centered care with continuous improvement at it's core.

TCPI

The Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI) is the largest federal initiatives to support providers and practices in transforming care across the nation. The initiative is designed to support more than 140,000 clinician practices over the next four years in sharing, adapting and further developing their comprehensive quality improvement strategies.

MidSouth PTN

The MidSouth Practice Transformation Network is a partnership between the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the Safety Net Consortium of Middle Tennessee. MidSouth PTN engages clinicians across Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Arkansas in the process of transformation with the overall goal of providing patients with higher quality care and better clinical outcomes at lower cost through the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI).
